VISION IN ACTION

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 1 John 4:10

!Hello!

So nice to be to report back with you of some of the things happening in the ministry.

Last year was some kind of a year, challenged us to change and adapt to some new ways that have become to be part of our daily life. Been flexible to these changes has allowed us to see the Father’s hand in all things, big or small, the ministry has not been the exception. 2021 keeps challenging us on ways in which God’s love can be shown, thru actions, words, and prayers, more logistical.

Mission starts in us, this transformation starts in us, and in the measure in which we decrease for Him to increase is that we will be able to be the utensils He needs to the work He is to carry thru us, His Church.

So allow us to start this 2021 by sharing two testimonies from the field, and two from the backyard (close to us).

News from Pastor Simon and Pastor Enrique

Teaching MamaTata belief on God’s Word

Pastor Simon has reported the awesome opportunity God gave him to witness to the “MamaTata” kids during one of their meetings.  Doors are opened for him to return and continue to work with the kids.  Relationships are critical and God uses them to open doors.  Pastor Simon has developed those relationships.

On another note, Pastor Enrique reports 14-baptism for this month due to the discipleship done despite the COVID situation.  God’s work continues and we are expectant to hear more reports from other areas.  David will start visiting some areas by the end of this month.

Almost there…

Government Visit to MGP office

Government Visit to MGP office

This past week we finally had the visit from the Tax Department that is to certify MGPanama Foundation as an eligible non-profit organization nationwide.  We still need to wait for a month to receive the Legal Document.  Praise the Lord!

Hannah Baptism

After disciplining Hannah on Jan, 29th she was baptized. We continue to study the Word through Zoom, she is fully committed.

I have continued to collaborate with the training Haggai Int’l with the equipping of new facilitators.  Since we do not know when this situation will allow us to go back to the presential mode we continue with the virtual mode.

The same is happening to the MGPanama Church Planting Workshops.  This last Sunday God allowed the blessing to speak to four pastors via zoom and introduce the ministry and training.  Our prayer is that soon we can start them again.

With God’s favor David, who does the field ministry, is trusting to be to restart the water filter project and follow-up trips to Mateo, Simon, and Enrique’s places.

As for the Bible Institute, the one we had programmed for January had to be postponed due to the lockdown, so God willing May will be the month.  We long to go back to the field, with the new normal, but to go back.

The situation down here in Panama is not different from many other countries.  The vaccine has arrived and our government has started the vaccination with the front lines at hospitals, police, and other areas of high exposure to the virus.  In the meantime, the rest continues to keep the health advice.  Thank God our family has been spared.  Thank you so much for the prayers, support, and love shown throughout 2020 and as far into 2021.  In Him and until the next time.  Keep safe, keep strong.

Talsy and David.
